Wiener Update
It occurred to me that one day in the less-than-distant future, a young lady may decide to conduct an Internet search on the term: "William Isaac Woodlief." Said lady will be, of course, interested in marrying young Isaac, and itching to bear an entire brood of Woodlief babies. The last post might, naturally, give her pause. Being chaste and of good upbringing, she won't know how to, as it were, verify the goods. So in the interest of setting her mind at ease, I'm happy to report that everything is healed up nicely.

For what it's worth (not much, I s'pose) ...
The capital city of Austria is Wien. Most have heard of Wienerschniztel. A schniztel is a veal cutlet. A Wienerschnitzel is a veal cutlet prepared as they do so in Wien. Since the grammatical gender of schnitzel is masculine (der schnitzel), the adjective Wien when modifying schnitzel is Wiener.
A man from Wien is a Wiener. A woman from Wien is a Wiennerin.
So, when I see "Wiener Update" I immediately thought, "Aha! He's lived in Vienna, and he's signalling how long he's lived there by using its actual name."
Instead, I find that the tender bits have healed. This is welcome news, even more so for William's future bride. I rejoice with everyone. I'm only faintly, very faintly disappointed that news from the Wiener street isn't to be found here. It remains the loveliest city I've ever inhabited.
