I don't have the strength or time to post. But I offer some pictures: Heartland Mission. If you look close, I think I'm in one or two of them.

Well done, Mr. W. I could tell there's a piercing stare even behind the shades.
May God bless you with cool breezes as you labor to help build a small portion of His kingdom, and comfort you as your arms ache, both from the work and wanting to hug your loved ones.

You haven't changed a bit since high school...really...and why are the kids on the bottom row smiling more than you?

Although I don't share your religious convictions, I do consider you a kindred spirit from many instances in your writings and admire your selfless effort to leave hearth and kin to help others. (Don't bother making another self-deprecating objection to that point because I won't buy it.)
The world needs more people like you in it.

How very admirable and rewarding to be so giving of your time and heart.

Awesome do-rag handsome! Caleb would be jealous. What happened to the cool hat? :)

Okay, I was way off! I totally had you pegged as the jolly looking fellow with the Fu Manchu moustache!!

Wait. So he's not the big guy in the brown shirt and overalls?

Those pics were fun, thanks. They reminded me of my Habitat For Humanity days.
