Water

I saw this morning that Terri Schiavo finally departed this wicked place. If a country can wear shame, then ours should wear it today. I wonder whether she suffered as her throat dried, as her lips cracked. I don't want to think on it; I'm sure her parents can't stop thinking about it.

But I remember this:

"Everyone who drinks of this water will thirst again; but whoever drinks of the water that I will give him shall never thirst; but the water that I will give him will become in him a well of water springing up to eternal life."

Thirst no more, Terri.

once again, you have put the chaos into perspective for us.

Amen.
May God have mercy on us.

a few days ago, i prayed that god have mercy, and that i not decide what his mercy was.

today, terri's body died. it is my hope that her soul was raised to eternal life.

hope is all any of us have. hope and faith.

i hope for the best, and i have faith in god's mercy.

Her husband's soul is the one which most needs God's mercy. In the quiet hours when he's not making excuses or politicizing, I hope he opens his own heart to God.

Excellent words, Tony.

I am so thankful there is more to life than this life. I trust Terri Schiavo is now drinking deeply from the eternal well. And I trust Michael will one day call on the God of mercy.

Succint post Tony, I really appreciate you more and more every time I read your posts. I struggle to express myself without profanity when it comes to things like this and you tend to put it into a perspective that I hadn't considered. Thank you for that sir!

You simply must read what a whack job Michael Schiavo attorney George Felos really is:
