Happy Birthdays
The first Happy Birthday goes to Timothy Eli Woodlief, who is a big ONE year old today. The good thing about a one year-old's birthday party is that he can't eat much cake, and he likes whatever I like.
The second Happy Birthday goes to my wife, who was kind enough not to hold Eli in another 24 hours even though it meant sharing her special day with him.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO ELI AND CELESTE!
I'm so bad at birthdays. I know that Tony's is around the first half of December, so if I can get my lazy butt off the couch and get him a card, it's pretty much by divine intervention. With no better half these days, odds are against me remembering even my own birthday.
Here's a toast: To my oldest friend, and to one of my newest. Love you all!

I've fallen behind on my blog-reading for the past 3-4 weeks -- even Sand in the Gears, my invariable first stop. Other matters have been taking up a bit of my time. Let me offer a belated Happy Birthday to your wife and children.

Happy birthday to your family!
And this is totally off-topic, but I had trouble accessing the link "Give: Russian Seminary". The url referenced Donbass--is this seminary in Ukraine? Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you could check the link. We live in Ukraine and I like to know what is going on here. There is a great need for seminaries and training young pastors.
Blessings,
Alexandra
