Okay, all you North Carolina Tarheels fans, here's my take on the team's miserable basketball season, which really began last year.

It's the judgment of God.

You heard me right. The little twits who pass for fans anymore in the Dean Dome had taken last season to calling Coach Doherty "God," themselves the "Disciples," and the stadium "The Chapel." You think the good Lord can't hear stuff like that? So look what happened -- the team lost on five straight Sundays to close out the season.

Five straight Sundays. That doesn't happen to a Carolina basketball team, any more than it rains frogs in Egypt. Now the team plays like geriatrics hopped up on cough medicine. It's a curse, I tell you.

Repent, Tarheels. Repent.
