Blog Buffet

I've been proven via Bear's computer analysis to be a bit of a links tease. Fortunately, in the last few days there have been several excellent posts that are worth your time:

* Justin Adams at Curmudgeonry gives James Taranto of WSJ's "Best of the Web" a well-deserved slap for insinuating that Lutherans who disciplined a pastor for associating with godless heathen at a September 11th memorial service are equivalent to violent Muslims.

* Susanna Cornett slices and dices a similarly bigoted comment on a leftie's blog.

* Bill Quick, the Daily Pundit, ferrets out the weasel words in a reporter's description of the pilot who dropped the big smack on Hiroshima.

* Dodd Harris celebrates a year of caption contests (be sure and enter -- there's a prize involved).

* Lawrence Haws dispels a silly notion that talk of arming only pilots on planes is evidence of misogyny and homophobia (his links are broken -- it's the second post for July 10th).

* The Timekeeper explains why "Harkengate" is not like Clinton's scandals.

* Jeff Goldstein defends his honor against a malicious calumny.

* Dave Trowbridge provides a link to villainsupply.com, "your best online source for everything EVIL."

* And last but certainly not least, The View From the Core has one of my missives in their Guest Column slot this week.

I am new to the internet and I am surfing here and this is very interesting reading. I did a search in the search engines on "company blog" and I found your web blog.
I am a Lawyer in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada and thus my interest in searching for a company blog on the WWW.
I just wanted to see how the rest of the world thinks and see what trends and technology are happening in the world. I also was interested in a blog for myself which might possibly lead to a blob for my law firm, you never know, that is if I can understand the technology of operating a blog and from what you are discussing I am somewhat hesitant right now.
The different things discussed on a website found by searching for "company blog" in the search engine is very amusing reading to this Halifax Lawyer.

Respectfully yours
B. J. Stephens, LL.B.
